Proud Mary
Yesterday was a big day for Gav and me. After picking up his learners permit he drove me around for the first time. It was a proud moment for both of us. He took the course seriously and made all A's on his tests. Now he will be driving Jim and me around for six months improving his skills.

Wow, that's great news! Driving is a wonderful step in growing up. I remember my poor dad taking me out to drive. What an adventure for both of us. He was so patient except when he wasn't.
That is so exciting - it's still hard to believe he is old enough to drive. I'm sure you've discovered that imaginary brake on the passenger side - I remember having used it quite a bit.
