Snowboard Action

America's top snowboard competition series is underway. Starting Thursday participants will begin practice for the third and final leg to be staged right here in Idaho!
The 2007 Chevrolet U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix is being held at Tamarack Resort.
Set to compete are some Olympic and X-Games medalists, such as Idaho’s own Nate Holland.
Gavin has been invited to go and watch the competitions this weekend. His friend Mack and family have a condo in McCall, where they will stay over the weekend. Gavin is excited and has made a list of things to take to keep warm. I'm trying to encourage him to take my camera but he is still thinking about it. He is not sure if he wants to be bogged down with such a big responsibility of not dropping or losing it. Either way, I'm sure he will have a blast.

Kid Sitting

While the pirate is away...the boys will play! Jim took off this afternoon for Spokane to visit a good friend. He will be gone until Sunday afternoon and I'm sure he will have a good story and pictures posted on his blog about it. Gavin was hired to watch Porter for a few hours this afternoon. They are outside right now working on the skateboard ramps and putting them to the test. Porter thinks Gavin is the best thing since home made bread! Me, I'm addicted to a darn Scrabble game I found on the internet.

Dream come true

Good news for slackers: naps can help the heart
Daytime snooze cuts risk of fatal heart attack by 37 percent, study finds

CHICAGO - Office nappers now have the perfect excuse: New research shows that a little midday snooze seems to reduce the risk of fatal heart problems, especially among men.
I love my naps. I love anyone who loves naps. And now my heart loves naps too!

My little poop scoop

Isn't he adorable? This is Porter who lives next door and likes to come over for visits. He caught me in the act of scooping poop and thought it looked fun. You want to try it?? :)

The Wave

My brother Jim went to Southern Utah recently and emailed these pictures. What a cool place. I've put it on my list of places to visit...soon!
