Zip, Zip, Hurray!

We found a new fun activity that is practically in our backyard. Actually it is in Horseshoe Bend about thirty minutes away. Jim's sister Judy and her husband Billy are traveling through on their annual trip from Fairbanks to Naples, Florida. We've been doing something outdoors with them everyday but I think this will be the most memorable. This is the first year for the owner of Zipline and he has had over two thousand customers so far this year. First they take you on a scenic ride up the mountains and then teach you how to put on the equipment. The first few zip lines are short and fast. By the time you get to the longer zip lines you feel comfortable enough to relax and enjoy the ride. The last zip line is called "Double Trouble" where you can race each other. Gavin and Jim raced with Gav starting out in the lead only to be overtaken by his heavier, I mean faster Dad.

I hope Paddy doesn't see this post. He'll immediately start making plans for ME to do it -- he's too chicken for anything off the ground, but he loves to send me up.

That looks like too much fun!

Glad Judy and Bill had a nice visit in beautiful Boise.

I highly recommend this zipping for anyone brave enough to do it. It is so much fun! We had a great time with Judy and Billy. You know how they like to go, go, go so we went, went, went!

Nanny, get your gear ready!

I thoughh of you as soon as I saw this. Shaddy and I can be in the chase car making a video as you zip along. I'll let him steer the Beast as you zip along.

Fun!
